I’m Richard Rizo, founder of 89Design. My background spans visual design, recording arts, photography, technology, business management, and leadership—but the thread through it all is a love of creating and working with people.
Photography is at the heart of 89Design: a thoughtful, collaborative experience created to celebrate life, honor meaningful milestones, and make photographs that feel personal, polished, and lasting.

My formal training includes visual design, recording arts, and photography, supported by a master’s degree in business management and leadership experience. Together, these disciplines influence how I prepare, communicate, solve problems, and create.
